Before

After

Our Client came to us as their original Agent was having no success in selling their property. We visited the property and reviewed the marketing package that the other Agent had put together. They were looking for a premium price but the photos did not reflect a premium property. The original period features were not being enhanced to their full potential. It appeared to be dull and dark and was not inviting to viewers. Although the property was not overly cluttered or small by any means there was a sense that there was not much space. The property was lacking an elegance that becomes the Victorian era.

We completely repainted throughout in light neutral colours to give back some light to the property and create a clean crisp look. We removed all curtains from the windows to attract more natural light and to also enhance and make a feature of the lovely Victorian sash windows. The cornicing, skirtings and window frames were repainted and ceiling roses were added to enhance the Victorian look. The floors were treated and most of the furniture was removed to give more of a sense of space as this was one of the main downsides that had been reported by previous viewers. Light fittings in keeping with the Victorian era were added and we also added lights to areas where there was no lighting at all. The front of the property was not being presented to its full potential and was very uninviting, so we painted the original railings at the front, planted shrubs and painted the front door.
